New requests are assessed in accordance with Council's Urban Tree Strategy. Planting runs from April to October each year, weather permitting.
The City of Burnside runs a maintenance program for street trees. The program includes identifying and treating pests and disease, pruning of the younger trees, crown maintenance, modification in mature trees and removal of dead, dying or diseased trees. An assessment will be actioned within 90 days.
Street and Community signs will be cleared of vegetation to ensure signs can be clearly sighted. An assessment will be carried out within 28 days of notice.
