Public litter bin collection / request to empty

• Litter Bins are emptied 1 to 3 times per week. These bins are located in our parks, reserves and on some streets. They are emptied by our staff.

• Requests to empty an overflowing litter bin will be assessed within 24 hours. If immediate action is required due to a hazard, arrangements will be made for the bin to be emptied as soon as possible. Non urgent requests will be scheduled for emptying on the normal collection day.

• Urgent matters where there is imminent danger or a life threatening hazard please call City of Burnside on 83664200 (24 hours) for immediate attention..

Your request will be assessed, scheduled and completed within 24 hours. Thank you.
