• PRIVATE drainage issues including home storm water matters or toilet blockages etc. are the responsibility of the home owner and owners should contact an independent plumber.

• Blockages to Council drains, side entry pits and easement drains will be assessed within 3 working days. Repair to Council drains, side entry pits and easement drains will be assessed within 5 working days.

• Council are responsible to ensure drainage systems are clear from Council land to property boundary.

• Capital works drainage projects for the installation of new or improved drains can be viewed at the link below. Any enquiries for new Council drainage installations are to be referred to City of Burnside on 83664200.

• Urgent matters where there is flooding, imminent danger or a life threatening hazard please call City of Burnside on 83664200 24 hours per day for immediate attention.

Your request will be assessed, scheduled and completed within 14 days. Thank you.
